How do I uninstall ruby 1.9 from /usr/local under Ubuntu 10.04?

I believe when I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 from 9.10, ruby 1.8 and 1.9 were installed under /usr/bin. However, I had a previous installation of Ruby 1.9 under /usr/local/bin. How do I remove the one from local under Ubuntu 10.04?
