Ubunt doesn't mount one of my NTFS disks

  1. There is a mountable /dev/sda NTFS formatted (Windows disk)
  2. There is no /dev/sdb when I ls /dev (NTFS Data disk)
  3. There is a /dev/sdc which is another disk of the same model, (Ubuntu disk)
  4. I can see that Ubuntu detected this unmountable disk in the Disk Utility
  5. It states incorrectly it is unpartioned and a RAID volume. (it previously was RAID0 setup with /dev/sdc but now it is a simple volume, no RAID whatsoever)
  6. When I boot Windows 7, it uses this unmountable disk without a glitch
  7. The problem happens in both IDE and AHCI modes
  8. Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx
