Is this even possible? I need to connect multiple line level inputs into my machine, but my soundcard only has one Line-In. I'd like to use the Line-In on my onboard sound device to get an additional input

Hello. I have no sound card on my machine, but I want to (automatically) record screen with audio on it. So I thing it's some kind of virtual sound card driver needed to loop back sound send to play to microphone. Is there such solution for Windows OS?

Well, my computer didn't come with a stock PC speaker
I noticed also that laptops tend to not have PC speakers either, but they make bios/beep sounds through their normal speakers.

Is there a virtual MIDI keyboard or any other program that can generate MIDI events like if it were a MIDI instrument for or in Mac OS X?
I've found some but they are extremely old and for PPC. I'd like something that doesn't require Rosetta.

I'm planning out a summer coding project for myself. I work with a lot of MIDI and have been researching it a lot. I know it's an old technology, but it works with a lot of music hardware/software so in my eyes, it's still viable. Anyway, I haven't ever worked with writing drivers or anything, so…

I'm currently implementing an application to perform some tasks on MIDI files, and my current problem is to output the notes I've read to a LilyPond file.
I've merged note_on and note_off events to single notes object with absolute start and absolute duration, but I don't really see how to convert…
