Why does not my Windows XP connects to the wireless?

I have a dell machine with Windows XP. For the past two days its not connecting to the wireless network. I have another machine with Windows 7 and its connects with the same wireless.

This started happening since yesterday when I found a Virus (spy-agent.bw.gen!mem) on my machine which I think I managed to remove using Avira.
