How to connect to internal server via WWW

Hi there

Was wondering if its possible to connect to an internal server on the domain via WWW?

The reason for this is that the default sharepoint server you see when you get into the SBS isnt the right one - we want the server on another ip.

I would have thought it cant be done - you have to use directx or remote desktopping....
