Hi,
I'm using Dojo.dnd to transfer items between to areas. The problem is: the items will snap into place once I drop them, but I'd like to have them stay where I drop them, but only for one area.
Here's a little code to explain this better:
<div id="dropZone" class="dropZone">

I've encountered what seems like a chicken & egg problem, and have what I think is a logical solution. However, it occurred to me that others must have encountered something similar, so I figured I'd float it out there for the masses.
The situation is that I want to use dojo's addOnLoad function…

Hi guys,
I have a form setup with dojo 1.5. I am using a dijit.form.ComboBox and a dijit.form.TextBox
The Combobox has values like "car","bike","motorcycle" and the textbox is meant to be an adjective to the Combobox.
So it doesn't matter what is in the Combobox but if the ComboBox does have a value…

Hey all,
Ok... I have a simple dojo page with the bare essentials. Three UL's with some LI's in them. The idea si to allow drag-n-drop among them but if any UL goes empty due to the last item being dragged out, I will put up a message to the user to gie them some instructions.
In order to do that…

After adding in the WidgetsInTemplateMixin, I am receiving an error
dest.appendChild is not a function

I want to be able to provide a button to my users to just print a particular portion of my dojo/dijit application. There seems to be a general lack of documentation and examples when it comes to printing.
For example, I have a specific dijit.layout.ContentPane that contains the content that I would…

I am trying append some XML retrieved via a dojo.XHRGet to a dijit.layout.ContentPane. Everything works ok in Firefox (3.6) but in Chrome, I only get back 'undefined' in the particular ContentPane.
My code looks something like this:
var cp = dijit.byId("mapDetailsPane");
cp.destroyDescendants();…

I have a lot of dijit.TitlePanes stacked up one after another. I wish to handle the onmouseover and onmouseout events for the tile part of the TitlePane. What is the correct way of doing this?
Will something like :
dojo.connect(titlePane.titleNode, 'onmouseover', function f() {});
work, where…

Is there any possible way to change the "cancel" tool tip that pops up over the X box on a dijit.dialog? I just want it to read "close".
I'm somewhat new to dojo. I expect this might be just a dumb question that has a really easy answer, but I am finding no examples.
Thanks in advance.
