I am working on a project that requires accessing the Derby database behind a CDP Backup Server. From what limited research I've been able to complete, I have found that it is possible to access Derby databases over TCP, but I'm at a complete loss for this.

I'm looking to connect via PHP eventually, but first I need to know if this is at all possible with an out-of-the-box CDP server.
