QUESTION:: How should /etc/network/interfaces be setup?? The following attempt just kills my internet connection!
--------- /etc/network/interfaces -------------
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
# The loopback network interface
auto lo iface lo inet loopback
# The primary network interface auto eth0 iface eth0 inet manual
auto br0
iface br0 inet static
address 172.20.20.3
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 172.20.20.0
broadcast 172.20.20.255
gateway 172.20.20.1
bridge_ports eth0
bridge_fd 9
bridge_hello 2
bridge_maxage 12
bridge_stp off
