Sometimes after work I'll come home and have a beer or two and I've found that once I have a beer in me, my desire to code drops precipitously. I'm not talking about getting hammered or anything, but I can't seem to get up the gumption to do any coding.

I'm still fine to do other things, i.e.- paying bills, playing games, reading, etc, it's just coding. I know that some people prefer to code with some beer in them.

Is this normal, or do I need to practice coding under the influence so if the need ever arises, I'm ready for it. (I will only be coding on pet projects, nothing serious while CUI)
