Hi friends I am not able to connect my broadband connection with ubuntu and it doesnt work. The connection works fine when I use Windows7 but when i use ubuntu I am not able to access the internet. I followed various steps mentioned in various sites and still could not find a solution. I have installed ubuntu 8.04 in my system. The interface eth0 is not at all detected and when i use the menu system->administrator->network I am not getting an option for wired connection. Just the WIreless connection and Point to Point connection tabs are available.. It's really urgent.. I'll be very happy if u guys can propose to me a working solution to deal with this problem..
