Cannot use broadband in Kubuntu

I have 5 months of experience using ubuntu 10:10. And it is clear it is suitable for broadband use.

For Kubuntu, I have thoroughly tried everything available, using the 10:10 Kubuntu CD that I have had for the last week. It is very appealing, but in the meantime I am unable to use broadband in Kubuntu.

I've tried and tried, thinking that it was possible that the use of broadband in Kubuntu was the same as in Ubuntu, so I have attempted to use broadband just as I used it in ubuntu.

But I have failed to successfully test the broadband. Kubuntu was much different from ubuntu. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
