Is there a story behind it?

I did a Google search for "Why is Robert C. Martin called Uncle Bob?" but didn't find an answer.

There is this pretty well-know person in the software engineering world named Robert C. Martin. He speaks at conferences and has published many excellent books one of which is Clean Code (Amazon). He is the founder and CEO of Object Mentor Inc.

Robert C. Martin is also called Uncle Bob. But I can't figure out why.
