I want to digitize my note taking. I was looking into using tablets or something of that sort but I feel that it would be too much of a challenge to type instead of actually writing my notes during meetings.

That got me thinking into looking into something like LiveScribe. It looks neat but I don't know how it would work in the real world.

1. How does OCR work with something like smart pens? How is the desktop applications? Any experience?
2. Does anyone have an alternative suggestions? Positives and negatives?

Any advice would be helpful.
