I've got an iRAM solid state drive.

I'd like to use this to store a linux root filesystem; the trouble is the device is not recognized as a hard drive to the BIOS. It only shows up if a live CD environment is loaded and the scsi drivers are available (may be other drivers needed as well).

I've heard of Boot to Ram and wonder if some variation of that could work here and I could run a linux install off the iRAM??
