I'm trying to write a paper on why or why not an open source project will have good odds for survival or not. I've found very few articles on the Internet on the topic or I'm just searching with the wrong terms. I've tried:

• "open source" survival
• "open source" success failure
• "open source" determinants for success

So far i've only found this, which says some on the topic.

So I turn to you my dear stackers! Help me find some arguments and articles that will throw some clarity on the subject.
