Missing resolutions on ubuntu 11.10 fresh install

Today I installed Ubuntu 11.10 for the first time on my computer. My Monitor's resolution is 1280x1024, but the only resolutions in display are "1024x768 (4:3)" and "800x600 (4:3)". I installed all updates, There is nothing in additional drivers and still nothing. I want to set the resolution to 1280x1024.

How do I check my graphic card name?

By the way Unity 3d is working and compiz effects are working super fast.
