If Gmail’s icon-based buttons annoy you, it’s now possible to switch them back to the old text labels with a simple settings toggle.
At MakeUseOf they highlight the new option in Gmail and how you can switch back to the old button layout:
So how do you make that happen? All you have to do is click on the cog button, choose “Settings”, and go to the the General tab. Scroll down to find the “Button labels” setting, and change it from icons to text.
I know what I’ll be doing shortly; text-based button labels here I come.
