Where is the rand php function located? localhost php running, path of default functions?

I have a local server installed on my Mac (MAMP). My question is, where I can find the php functions in my computer? What is the path to the functions folder? For instance, rand() time() isset() explode().

I would like to se the code to learn of it.

I have a while looking for it, but I can't find it.

Or is it that is already compiled?

Can someone help me here? I'm kind of lost.
