I'm having this issue trying to uninstall and/or upgrade the Adobe flash player plug-in. Here's what I've ran through the terminal:

$ sudo apt-get install -f

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

  linux-headers-3.0.0-19-generic linux-headers-3.0.0-13 linux-headers-3.0.0-19
  erlang-base
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  adobe-flashplugin

1 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 10.2 MB disk space will be freed.
