Tried to install some software, it says some packages are damaged, cannot fix them

So, I go to the Ubuntu Software Center, as soon as it opens, a window pops up with the following text: "Items cannot be installed or removed until the package catalog is repaired. Do you want to repair it now?"

Then I click the "Repair" button, then a new window pops up with the following text: "Package operation failed. The installation or removal of a software package failed."

Then I click on the "Details" button, which returns me the following text:
