I am having this terrible problem. I have read a lot of people getting disconnected from the Network, it is not my case, I don't get disconnected, the connection just gets "idle" most of the time. It only works for short periods of time (seconds, a couple of minutes at most), then gets dead, then works again, and so on. It is annoying.

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 on a Dell M5030 laptop.

I have Windows 7 installed too, and of course with it, the wifi works perfectly.

Any idea? advice?
