If you recall, on Sunday I blogged about not voting against a candidate and, instead, voting for a candidate. As promised, this is the first post of 25.
Meet Tom Hoefling of America’s Party
- In addition to being America’s Party nominee, he’s also the national chairman of the party. Mr. Hoefling also served as the political director for Alan Keyes’ political group America’s Revival. He is a representative for the American Conservative Coalition. Mr. Hoefling is on the ballot in: CA, CO, FL and is a qualified write-in candidate in IN.
- America’s Party This party was originally known as “America’s Independent Party” and considers itself conservative. The following describes their standing on specific issues.
- * Tax Reform – The party seeks to reform the tax structure by advocating the repeal of the 16th Amendment, and despite the fact that many members support the FairTax, the platform remains open on what to replace the Federal income tax with.
- * Other - The party supports the Federal Marriage Amendment being added to the U.S. Constitution. It is also pro-life on abortion.
