Simple 3D games to make for learning 3D game development (Unity)

I have some experience doing 2D games. But I struggle so much doing anything in Unity, so I'´ve decided to make some simple 3D games as a way to learn this 'new dimension' in game development but I'm having a hard time choosing games to clone (a task that's relatively easy to do for 2D).

What games should a 2D developer make to break in 3D and why?

I'd like also note that I have no problem with the scripting languages.
