I've looked high and low for C tutorials that have lots of exercises to do along the way, but in my experience all the guides I've found have mostly explanation with a bit of code pre-written, lacking exercises for you to do.

I started learning Python using Learn Python the Hard Way, and for almost all other standard languages there are good sites to learn and grapple with the syntax - for example codecademy.com, programr.com.

Is there any site like any of the above for C?
