I've been in my first programming job for just under 2 years now (it will be two years next month). I went from Junior Developer initially to just Developer after about a year (when the senior developer left). It's a small company and I write all the code.

I have been offered a cool new job (Windows 8, Visual Studio 2012, SQL Server 2012, MVC etc etc) and I am considering it not because I hate my current job (I don't, it's fun) but because I am scared that if I stay in the one job for too long, other employers won't want to hire me as it will look like I can't get a job anywhere else.

It would help a lot if you could answer this question: How long did you stay in your first programming job?
