I've just performed a fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10, and I've noticed that sound isn't working. When I go to sound settings, I can see that there is absolutely no sound devices detected. However, I do have my speakers installed and turned on, plus my machine has an internal speaker as well.

I've seen other posts where people mention that they have "Dummy device" listed, this isn't the problem here, the output device section is completely blank. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kev
