phpmyadmin displays blank page after installing apc and memcached

ii am running a lamp stack on centos 5.6 with php 5.3. i had installed phpmyadmin and it work. i was able to log in and do anything. Then i installed memcached and its php extension as well as apc and its php extension. i have restarted httpd and php info says that memcache and apc are installed and configured.

My question is, why does php my admin now display a blank page after installing memcache and apc.
