motherboard
I have a custom build server with 2 Xeon E5-2609 and Supermicro MBD-X9DRL-IF-B.
Right now the server has 4X Hynix 4Gb 2Rx8 PC3L-10600R-9-10-B0 HMT351R7BFR8A. and its working great.
We baught another 4 from the same series of memory, when we installed all the ram (4 sticks already installed and we added 4 new sticks) the server didn't boot.
When we replaced the current memory with the new memory - the server did boot.
Right now we are in a problem because we need to extend this server ram but the motherboard don't run with 8X4Gb.
Any ideas why?
I have attached a picture with one of the current memory stick and one of the new memory stick.
Thanks in advence.
