I purchased LSI SAS 9300-4i Host Bus Adapter, from card bios I can see that it detected all hard drives connected to it, but from ubuntu I can't see them.

What I've tried:

Installed the driver provided here http://www.lsi.com/products/host-bus-adapters/pages/lsi-sas-9300-4i.aspx#tab/tab3 (I tried both LINUX_RH_SL_OEL_CTX_MPT_GEN3_C0_Phase2.0-3.00.00.00-1 and Linux_Driver_RHEL5-6_SLES10-11_P1)

lspci | grep -i lsi
07:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS3004 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-3 (rev 02)
