Effective May 22, 2014, Oracle Platinum Services is now available with an updated combination of certified components based on Oracle engineered systems: Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, and Oracle SPARC SuperCluster systems. The Certified Platinum Configuration matrix has been revised, and now includes the following key updates:

• Revisions to Oracle Database Patch Levels to include 12.1.0.1
• Addition of the X4-2 Oracle Exalogic system
• Removal of the virtualization column as the versions are not optional and are based on inclusion in integrated software
• Revisions to Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software to clarify patch level requirements for virtual and non-virtual environments
