I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 on an old '08 macbook. I've gone to system settings>Software & Updates>Additional Drivers and enabled the wireless driver. But when I click the wifi icon on the top toolbar no networks show up.

When running lshw it clearly shows my wireless card under Network controller and it says the driver is installed.

However, nm-tool only shows ethernet.

And rfkill only shows bluetooth.

What can I do?
