Error compiling GLib in Ubuntu 14.04 (trying to install GimpShop)

I'm kinda new in Linux, so please take it easy on the most complicated stuff.
I'm trying to install GimpShop. Installation guide asks me to install GLib first, and when I try to compile it using the make
command I get errors.
When I run the ./configure --prefix=/usr
