  EDIT: I solved my issue. I will answer my own question, but in 5 hours because I don't have permission now. I know the question has been asked before, but please hear me out. So I wanted to install screenlets. • Mounting NFS directory causes creating Zero byte files

  I have two Servers, Server X (IP 192.168.1.1) and Server Y (IP 192.168.1.2), both of them are ubuntu 9.1 i have created varnish load balancer on them for my drupal website (pressflow 6.22) I have mounted a directory of imagecache from server X to Y as below @X:/etc/exports == /var/www/proj/htdocs/sites/default/files/images 192.168.1.2(rw,async,no_subtree_check) @Y:/etc/fstab == 192.168.1.1:/var/www/proj/htdocs/sites/default/files/images var/www/proj/htdocs/sites/default/files/images nfs defaults 0 0 also i made this on server X X:/var/www/proj/htdocs/sites/default/files$ chmod -R 777 images i tried to touch, rm, vim, and cat files in images directory that has been mounted on Y and everything went fine. now, ALWAYS when server Y's imagecache tries to create an image in images directory, the image is created with ZERO byte file size. anyone face the same before? any idea of how to fix this problem or what might cause it?   I tried to install Ubuntu 14.04 on my Windows 8, and in the installation wizard I chose "Help me boot from CD". Now I have something like this when I restart the computer: http://i.stack.imgur.com/HxDQr.png If I click Ubuntu I get an error about a missing file (wubildr.mbr). I found a solution here. But that's not my concern now. I don't know if that means I have Ubuntu installed on my computer now or not, but I wanna delete it from the boot screen. I figured that I need to delete its partition, so I went to Disk Management and found the following: http://i.stack.imgur.com/W0oP4.png My question is: which one should I delete?

• Why can't I copy files to var/www/html?

  I copy some files, go to /var/www/html, right click, Paste isn't available. Why is that? I tried the command sudo nautilus, it opened the files navigation window, I navigated to /html, still the same problem. I also tried gksudo nautilus but it said: The program 'gksudo' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install gksu I installed it, tried again, same problem. What should I do? edit: Figures that I was accessing the files inside a .zip directory and I shoulda extracted them first. Solved

  I'm trying to play a background sound for my application, I use SoundPool class, my problem is that, sound plays well only when I set the loop parameter with zero value, but it doesn't work for any other value. My code for initialization is: soundpool = new SoundPool(4, AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC, 0); soundsMap = new HashMap<Integer, Integer>(); soundsMap.put(1, soundpool.load(this, R.raw.soundfile_1, 1)); soundsMap.put(2, soundpool.load(this, R.raw.soundfile_2, 1)); my code for playing is soundpool.play(1, 0.9f, 0.9f, 1, -1, 1f); as I mentioned sound works when I put (0) instead of (-1) for the loop value, anyone has any idea why (-1) or any value other than (0) doesn't work (there is no output sound) ?

  Hi, I have a dll file, and i took an object from it and called the functions inside this dll by the object, like this way: Command testClass = (Command)assembly.CreateInstance(creatObject); testClass.Execute(); anyway, the i used reflection from some reason. so i need to use invoke function & set values for variables, then calling the basic function Execute.   Hi All, i have a module and i am using node_load(array('nid' = arg(1))); now the problem is that this function keep getting its data for node_load from DB cache. how can i force this function to not use DB cache or static value? Example my link is http://mydomain.com/node/344983 now: $node=node_load(array('nid'=arg(1)),null,true); echo $node-nid; output: 435632 which is a randomly node id (available in the database) and everytime i ctrl+F5 my browser, i get new nid!! Note: if i am logged in, it gives the result correctly, but this problem happens only when i am browsing the website as an anonymous user i really appreciate any idea!! Thanks
