• CheckBox checked state in a ListView

  I'm using a ListView with CheckBox, but as most of you know, when you roll down the scroll, a checked CheckBox gets unchecked as you roll up back the scroll. So i've been reading and i found out that you can pass (using getView) the id of the CB to the position parameter of getView to save the CheckBox state! But i can't use getView with SimpleCursorAdapter, can i? Because i'm using bindView! Thanks

• Deleting SQLite rows automatically/periodically

  Hi guys! So, i have a application that displays tasks and i created an option in the Settings menu that lets you choose in how many days all (Never, 10 days, 20 days or 30 days) these tasks should be automatically deleted. So when i open up the app there will be a method that will be called and check if theres any tasks to be deleted. I did that to challenge myself, but i'm hitting the wall with my head and i cant come up with something. So here i am in need of help! A little more information: i was trying to do something with java/android code, but from past searches i saw people dealing with it using SQL functions. Is it better? Thanks in advance guys!

  So, i'm having a problem (newbie one) with a CheckBox Listener AND a ListView. I need to request the '...long id) that passes through the Overriden method onListItemClick and put it into a OnCheckedChangeListener. How should i do that? If you guys need the code i can post it! Thanks in advance!!

• CheckBox and the ContextMenu

  Hi guys! I have in a ListView with a ContextMenu, it has one CheckBox (the CheckBox has android:focusable="false") and one TextView per row, but you can hide the TextView in the preferences menu. After doing that, the CheckBox wasnt registering the ContextMenu, so of course, why not registerForContextMenu(cb) and unregisterForContextMenu(getListView())? Yes, i did that, but then, when when i call the delete command of onContextItemSelected, the app crashs. AdapterContextMenuInfo info=(AdapterContextMenuInfo)item.getMenuInfo(); db.deletarTarefa(info.id); So here i am, accepting ideias and help! :) Thanks

• Pagination - Twitter's people you follow

  Hi guys, im developing an Android application for twitter that will sync data coming from the people you follow. The problem is that: http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/friends.json provides me the last 100 persons ive followed and i wanted to display only 20 for each 'page'. I believe that the 'cursor' parameter doesnt do what i need, so i'm trying to figure out a way to store it. Can you guys give me enlightenment? Thanks in advance

  Hi guys. I have a query that selects rows in a ListView without having a limit. But now that i have implemented a SharedPreferences that the user can select how much rows will be displayed in the ListView, my SQLite query doesnt work.
