  I would like to find a program or plugin for Skype that allows you to pipe sound samples in to the outgoing audio stream when you are on a call. Ideally it would have some sort of soundboard functionality so that I could have a group of audio samples at the touch of a button. • Is there an application that can do a blue screen effect with a webcam?

  Background: This is not the blue screen of death I am speaking of but the process called "Blue Screening" that takes and removes a particular colored background from an image so that it can be superimposed on some other video/still picture. If you have ever seen the weatherman stand in front of the map, then you have seen someone doing a blue screen technique. I would like to be able to capture video from my webcam, then send that video to a blue screen program which removes the white (or other color) from the background and then inserts a background of my own choosing. (think of the dead guy in freejack who was calling from all of the different places on earth) Then once the image is superimposed, I would like to pipe it into Skype for video conferencing. Anyone have a good way to do this?

  I want to allow someone to use a keyboard wirelessly but I am concerned that the user passwords will be sent across the wire too. Is there a wireless keyboard that encrypts the keystream? I bought an IR keyboard setup however it lacks the range to be useful more than a few feet away from the detector. I need a range of 10 feet.

  What is your most spectacular or interesting death of a computing device? The worst situation I have seen was an office in a war zone which had a window blown out which exposed the internal space to the elements outside. There were about 20 computers and only one of them would power on. The layer of dust looked to be at least 1/32 of an inch. WOW! I mean KerPow!

  I have some instructional videos I am getting ready to release on DVD and I want to know what is the quickest and most cost effective way to produce these in bulk? I am open to both customized PC based software/hardware solutions as well as dedicated hardware appliances which perform the same function. All options considered seriously. I don't have a problem building a system for this purpose. If I build something I would prefer it have the ability to make multiple copies at once. I figure I will need to make about 300 copies initially.
