  I would like to send Nagios notifications using my gmail account. I have already set up my hosts I want to monitor and services also. What is the most simple way to accomplish this using NagWin on a Windows Server 2012 installation? • Contacts in Outlook 2003/2007, some questions

  If I create a distribution list and then select members, can I see different fields than the default ones? In 2007 there are radio buttons for 'name only' and 'more columns', but the latter does seem to only result in no results at all, regardless of which address book I choose. In 2003 there is no such thing. Is there a plug in that will break up the recipients (whether they be to, cc, or bcc) in groups of X, and send then a number of mails as required? Our host allows only 50 recipients per mail and only 300 total recipients per 5 minutes. I know the email client blat has exactly this functionality, but it does not seem to be able to connect to the exchange server to get the contacts needed. Could I maybe set outlook to send to blat which then does the breaking up as necessary? Can I (or is there a plug in for this) export only part of the contacts instead of all of them? Note that we send mail outside our organisation via our web host where we've got a few mailboxes, and we use our exchange (2000) server only internally, the few people that can send email to the outside world have an external mailbox as well as their exchange account defined. I might be able to convince our general boss that we can simply give (some) people the ability to send outside via exchange, but I might just as well not succeed. Alternatively, is there another program that can connect to exchange to get the contacts (selected based on categories) and then send via smtp in groups with delays between the mails?

• Send mail from a Windows script

  I would like to send mail from a script on a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. I think the server setup is pretty much out of the box. The mail server is an Exchange one, and when you're on the internal network you can use plain old SMTP. I have done it from my machine with Perl, but unfortunately Perl is not available on the server. Is there an easy way of doing this from a .bat-file or any other way that doesn't require installing some additional software? Edit: Thanks for the quick replies. The "blat" thingie would probably work fine but with wscript I don't have to use a separate binary. I didn't see PhiLho's post the first time I edited and selected an answer. No need for me to duplicate the code here. Just save the script to a file, say sendmail.vbs, and then call it from the command prompt like so: wscript sendmail.vbs

  Hi Guys, I'm constructing a geolocation based application and I'm trying to figure out a way to make my application realise when a user is facing the direction of the given location (a particular long / lat co-ord). I've got the math figured, I just have the triangle to construct. //UPDATE So I've figured out a good bit of this... Below is a method which takes in a long / lat value and attempts to compute a triangle finding a point 700 meters away and one to its left + right. It'd then use these to construct the triangle. It computes the correct longitude but the latitude ends up somewhere off the coast of east Africa. Global.Alat = Math.asin(Math.sin(currlat)*Math.cos(distance)+ Math.cos(currlat)*Math.sin(distance)*Math.cos(bearing)); I have no idea why though and don't know how to fix it. I got the formula from this site.. http://www.movable-type.co.uk/scripts/latlong.html It appears correct and I've tested multiple things... I've tried converting to Radians then post computations back to degrees, etc. etc. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this method so that it will map the triangle ONLY 700 meters in from my current location in the direction that I am facing? Thanks, EDIT/// Converting the outcome to radians gives me a lat of 5.6xxxxxxxxxxxxxx .I have a feeling this bug has something to do with conversions but its not THAT simple.
