  • IE Problem: Jagged Scrolling and Dragging Inside Large Viewport

    My site is a single page website with a very large "canvas" size. and to navigate around the site i'm using jquery scrollTo and jquery Dragscrollable plugin. in IE 7 & 8 the scrolling/dragging movement is very jagged. at first i thought it was my script or some other plugin that's causing this. but after i stripped down everything it's still the same. i've tried a few tips i've found around here. but none is really working for me. i know i should be asking this question to the plugin developers. i did.. i just thought maybe you guys have some other solution for this issue. here's the URL to the demo site: http://satuhati.com/bare/template/ really appreciate any help u can give :) thx..

  • How to Load Dependent Files on Demand + Check if They're Loaded or Not?

I don't want to confuse you guys anymore with my bad english :P and here's an example of how i run the script: ... // load jquery cycle plugin if (page=='tvc' || page=='products') { if (!assetLoader.assets.cycle.loaded) { assetLoader.add('cycle'); } } // load products page assets if (!assetLoader.assets.products.loaded) { assetLoader.add('products'); } ... this kind of approach is very problematic though. coz assets loads asynchronously, which means some of the code inside products.js that depends on jquery.cycle.js might continue running before jquery.cycle.js is even loaded resulting in errors. while i'm quite aware that scripts can be attached with an onload event, i'm just not really sure how to implement it to my script. anyone care to help me? please... :P

  • Update FB:Like URL Dynamically using JavaScript

    i'd like to change the URL to like of an FB:Like button dynamically using javascript. right now i've been able to change the href attribute of the fb:like tag (i've pasted the code below). but that doesn't work. perhaps i have to re-initiate the FB:Like button, but so far i can't figure out how.. function update_share(container, url) { // update fb:like href value var container = container[0] || document.body; var button = container.getElementsByTagName('fb:like'); button[0].setAttribute('href', url); } any help would be appreciated. thx..
