• Tips for making administration of Drupal site easier

  I'm creating a Drupal site for a client, and I'd like to make administrating the site as easy as possible for them. Examples of what they'd want to do with the site is: Add/Edit/Remove content which will be displayed on various pages Manage a forum - Just the basic Drupal Forum module Add / Ban Users Respond to comments left using the webforum I see there is an Admin module, that looks pretty promising. But I was wondering if anyone has any other helpful tips. Thanks

• How do I make the Drupal-Core Forum display only to members, and ask for login details otherwise

  I'm trying to create a website, that has a menu based on Primary Links on the top of the site. The one menu item is for a 'Members Forum'. I want this menu item visible to all users (Anonymous/Authorized), but if an Anonymous user clicks on the item, instead of displaying "Access Denied", I'd prefer to show a custom message "such as please login to access the forum". If an Authorized user clicks it, obviously I want them to go straight to the page. In the Forum module, I've set up a container for the forum that is only viewable for Authorized users, so that when an Anonymous user clicks the menu item, they get the Access Denied error. • Drupal menu item disappears for Anonymous User, I dont want that happening!

  Good day I'm using Drupal 6, and I have a menu item that points to a Forum page. I only want the forums accesible by registered users, but if they aren't logged in/registered I want drupal to display a login/register page. Im using a 403redirect module to handle that, and that is fine. My problem is, I have the menu item pointing to /forum. And when I'm not logged in, the menu item disappears. How can I stop that from happening? Thanks
