    Hi, Basically the thing I want to achieve is to have a data-table that I want to use in my unit tests. And when I run my unit tests, I do not want to read any excel file into a data-table -or any call to Db-. So, I would like to have method that returns a data-table with the values that I can use in my test.     Hi, Regarding to jQuery utility function jQuery.data() the online documentation says: "The jQuery.data() method allows us to attach data of any type to DOM elements in a way that is safe from circular references and therefore from memory leaks. " Why to use: document.body.foo = 52; can result a memory leak -or in what conditions- so that I should use jQuery.data(document.body, 'foo', 52); Should I ALWAYS prefer .data() instead of using expandos in any case?     Hi, You know, once you add a web reference to a webservice a wrapper code is generated by Visuel Studio. I was wondering if there is a method (or property) which is generated by Visual Studio whatever web service you add to your project so that I can put a breakpoint there and once the debugger stops there, I can simply read the response from web-service in an xml format (or should I say, soap). I don't want to use fiddler or a tool like that. Is it possible? Does such a place exist in the webservice wrapper code for all the added webservice Thank you, burak ozdogan

  • Inside what the TexBox value is posted back? ViewState or post back data?

    In one article I was reading on ViewState, I saw a sentence saying that I should not fall into a mistake to believe that the value of a TextBox is stored in ViewState; it is stored in PostBack data. From here what I understand is when I post back a web form, the input controls values are stored in HTTP Request body. Not in the Viewstate. But as far as I know ViewState values are stored in an hidden field called __VIEWSTATE anyway. Then does it mean that __VIEVSTATE value is not posted in HTTP POST Request body as a postback data? Sounds nonesense to me. In another words, basically if I say the ViewState mechanism for such scenerio works like this, am I seeing it right or skipping something: You enter a value on an empty TextBox and submit the page The value of text box is posted back inside POST HTTP Request body. Nothing inside __VIEWSTATE at this point from the TextBox On the server side, the TextBox is created with the default value on OnInit method of the page The TrackChange property of ViewState is set to true. The posted back data of TextBox is loaded. Because it is different than the TextBox defalut value(because the user entered something), the ViewState of this text box is marked as DIRTY. The new value of the textbox is written into __VIEWSTATE hidden field From now on __VIEWSTATE hiddenfeild contains the last given value of the TextBox The page is sent to the user's browser having the __VIEWSTATE hidden field.   • Warping Images using cvWarpPerspective Results in Some Parts of the images out of the viewable area

    Hi, I am trying to stich two images together. In order to do so I extracted sift features and find matches on the two images using this C implementation. http://web.engr.oregonstate.edu/~hess/index.html After that I found the homography matrix using the matched points. http://www.ics.forth.gr/~lourakis/homest/ But if I use this Homography Matrix in "cvWarpPerspective" function, some of the parts of the image goes out of the viewable area (negative corrdinates). To solve this I tried to calculate the bounding box first by piping the four corners of the image through Homography matrix. And move the initial image then warp it. But this caused the warping result to change. Is there any way for warping an image and keeping it in the viewable area? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance...

    We have a bunch of formsets: EmailAddressInlineFormSet = generic_inlineformset_factory( EmailAddress, extra=1, exclude=["created_by","last_modified_by"]) emailaddressformset = EmailAddressInlineFormSet( instance=person, prefix="emailaddress") # [ more definitions ] and, in the view, we process them as: emailaddressformset = EmailAddressInlineFormSet( request.POST, instance=person, prefix="emailaddress") # [ more definitions ] So, nothing fancy or unordinary. The unfortunate or unordinary fact is, we have 15 of these formsets, one for email addresses, other for phone numbers etc. so the view code is ugly and not-so-manageable. What would be the most unhackish way to handle this number of formsets in a single view? At the end -i guess- I'm looking for a class or a functionality like multiple_generic_inline_formset and open to all kind of suggestions or discussions.

    Amazon AWS sent me an email about warning that my instance have been behaving like Phising that is against AWS Customer Agreement. And they noticed that they blocked port 80 and 443 which are for HTTP and HTTPS respectively. Google Safe Browsing also reported that some code injection was made to one of my websites. After a cleaning, Google stopped blocking my website displaying in the search result. So, how can I unblock my ports?

    Hello all, i have sth.bat file which launches my java program on compuiter A. i start this application from computer B by using "psstart \computerA "c:\sth.bat" ". but i when it comes to kill it in the same way, im limited with the process name. Because when sth.bat is run, i see a cmd.exe and java.exe in process list. I have to use the process name with "pskill \computerA processName". But i have more than one applications named cmd.exe and java.exe. How can i solve this problem?

  • Mac OS X Lion Apache Server not Found

    After upgrading to Lion 10.7.2 today, Apache virtual hosts are not working anymore. When I go to http://XYZ.localhost, it say "server not found". I am using Apache on my Mac OS X Lion and until today, it was working fine. I can access http://localhost but I can't access http://XYZ.localhost My /etc/hosts file is like below; 127.0.0.1 XYZ.localhost My /etc/apache2/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf file is like below; <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName XYZ.localhost DocumentRoot /Library/WebServer/Documents/XYZ <Directory /Library/WebServer/Documents/XYZ> DirectoryIndex index.php AllowOverride All Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> </VirtualHost> I think I once had this problem too, after another OS X update, but I can't remember how I solved it. Is it a user permission issue? Or is there something wrong with Apache or any other setting? EDIT: It seems like my /etc/hosts file is not working correctly. Even if I add something like 127.0.0.1 apple.com it still goes to the real apple.com. Maybe this might help to solve the problem.

  • Why do I lose my javascript from the browser cache after a full page postback?

    Hi, I have an external javascript file which I include to my page on the code behind (as seen below). My problem is, when I my page makes a postback (not partial one), I check the loaded scripts by using FireBug, and I cannot see the javascript file in the list after the post back. I asusmed once it is included to page on the first load, browser will be caching it so that I do not need to re-include it. What am I doing wrong?
