Best IDE macro tools to combat the verbosity of Java syntax for someone with carpal tunnel?

I have a bad case of carpal tunnel so I'm looking for an editor that would make my Java programming less painful (literally!). Does anyone have any recommendations for tools that you can add to Eclipse, Netbeans or other IDEs to produce some of the repetitive code that's common in Java syntax? Overall what would be the best code editor for this purpose? (I'm coding on Ubuntu, in case it matters).Read the article
