• strange Postfix logwatch log summary on my ubuntu vps

  Hi I would be very thankful if someone could help me on explaining this logwatch summary of my postfix installation on my ubuntu 10.04 vps. I dont really know if this might be a normal log file because of the many authentication failed entries and foreign IP addresses. Any advise for a novice? • routing problem with startpage in rails3

  Hey, I deleted the Index.html in my /public/ folder. I added a "application" folder in my views. In it I put a new index.html.erb. This I want to be my startpage/homepage. In my new "index.html.erb" I set: link_to 'sign in', {:controller => 'devise/sessions', :action => 'new'} But it redirects me to the "application#index". I set root :to => "application#index How can I set this to route it to "posts#index" after I sign in, for example? Is there a chance to use .erb oder .haml in my /public/index.html? Many thanks!!

• problem using default_scope on a model table

  Hey. In my controller/index action I use the following query: @course_enrollments = current_user.course_enrollments This is what my table looks like. It is referencing a course table. The course table has a colum 'title'. create_table "course_enrollments", :force => true do |t| t.integer "user_id", :null => false t.integer "course_id", :null => false t.datetime "created_at" t.datetime "updated_at" end I want to be able to order my course_enrollments by course in my index view. Furthermore Id like to do a default_scope in my model, like this: default_scope :order => 'title asc' any suggestions? Thx for your time
