• C# / WPF / .NET - Drag and drop to Desktop / Explorer

  Hey Guys Following my scenario. I got an Application which loads a Filestructure (Folders, Files) from a Database into a WPF ListView. Now I'd like to grab a file from this ListView, drag it over my Desktop (or some open explorer window) and drop it there. Basic Drag and Drop, nothing fancy. This sounds like a "standard" function for a windows application - but google won't help. So how can I achieve this? Interops? Thanks Edit: Thanks for the solution, I still had to do some googling.   Hey Guys I'm playing around with Interops and I thought: "Hey let's code something that accesses the clipboard ..." so I googled and found some articles (yeah I'm doing it with WPF - .Net 3.5).   Hey Guys I got some question about nested javascript objects (is it me, google or is javascript quite poorly documented?). Now, I got the following (nested) object: obj: { subObj: { 'hello world' } }; next thing I do is to reference the subobject like this: var s = obj.subObj; now what I would like to do, is to get a reference to the object obj out of the variable s. Something like: var o = s.parent; Is this somehow possible?

• Linq to Sql: Update Entity throug a new Object

  Hey Guys I'd like to update an entity via linq, but since I edit the entity in a view after serializing it, I don't have direct access to the entity inside the data context. I could do it like this: entity.property1 = obj.property1; entity.property2 = obj.property2; ... thats not cool... not cool at all. Next thing I tried is to do it via .attach() like so: context.Table.attach(entity, obj); doesn't work either. So is there another option short of reflection?

There I have to specify the select statement with the name of the sheet I wish to read ([Sheet1$]). this.dataAdapter = new OleDbDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM [Sheet1$]", connectionString); Is it possible to select the first sheet, no matter what name?   Hey Guys, I was wondering if there is a "maximum" of data a javascript application can store. I guess this is handled by the browser and that each one has it's limitation? Am I guessing right? Wrong? If there isn't a limit, will a page file be created (wouldn't be very secure I guess).
