tar fails to open .tar file on OS X

I need to unarchive a file to the /Developer folder. My file is in /Users/User/Desktop/VMware/Downloads And I am trying tar -xf qt-everywhere-ios-4.8.0-arm7-nossl.tar.gz -C /Developer and keep getting: Lions-Mac:Downloads User$ tar -xf qt-everywhere-ios-4.8.0-arm7-nossl.tar -C /Developer tar: Error opening archive: Failed to open 'qt-everywhere-ios-4.8.0-arm7-nossl.tar' How can I achieve this? Install Qt for iOS SDK The Qt for iOS SDK has been configured to be installed in the default Xcode installation location /Developer. It is not possible to install the SDK into another location without first rebuilding it, as the install location is contained within the qmake executable, and that is built as part of Qt. To install the Qt for iOS SDK, open ‘Terminal’ and type the following from the command-line: tar –xf qt-everywhere-ios-4.8.0-xxx.tar.gz –C /Developer (where xxx is an identifier which can be used to determine the build of the iOS SDK eg. arm7--nossl) This will install the Qt for iOS SDK into the following path: /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/share/qt-everywhere-ios-4.8.0

What can I do to resolve a cng.sys error while booting?

I have been downloading all bunch of things using torrent and I have restarted my pc and now every time at booting I get BSOD with the following error: ( cng.sys ; 8C1ACB28 at 8C183000 DATESTAMP 4ec48143 error 0xc0000001 ) I was checking this error and it seems that I have some sort of malware on my PC. How can I achieve to connect to Windows? I have tried repair and it says that I can't repair it. I have tried to boot with all F8 options and still I get restarted with BSOD. I have installed other Windows version of Windows on other partition. My version of Windows which is corrupted is Windows 7 ultimate x86. EDIT:

Apache 2.0 is showing only text and not php files

I have a web application written with PHP, html and JavaScript. On my pc I have installed a EasyPHP program which has Apache and everything installed. But I wanted to put this web app to my server and I have installed a Apache 2.0 but my php files are displayed as text or it starts to download them automatically. I have tried several things one of them is to add this to my conf file: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps But it's still not working. What else can I do? Thank you

How to boot directly into an application

I have an application that I want to boot in directly when windows xp starts. So after that "welcome" screen I don't want to see anything and load directly into the app. How can I do that? I tried adding a exe file to startup folder. But he is loading some 2-3 thing and then my app and I see windows desktop normally. Is it possible to load it directly? It is a windows form application not an cmd.

SPF from neutral to positive

I need to be able to configure SPF rule for my domain. Problem is that I can normally receive all the emails. But when I send to some recipients they receive it as spam. In the mail failure delivery I always see SPF as neutral. How can I change this settings? How to connect 2 mysql tables with 2 connection string

Hi all I need to connect 2 tables from 2 mysql databases that have 2 different connection strings and each is on the different server. I have this query: cmd = new MySqlCommand(String.Format("INSERT INTO {0} (a,b,c,d) SELECT (a,b,c,d) FROM {1}", ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table"), ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table")), con); So both table have the same columns. Thats why I have only one ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table") for both of them as they are same. I have 2 connection strings and each is pointing to their server: con.ConnectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["con1"].ConnectionString; con2.ConnectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["con2"].ConnectionString; How to make this cmd to be workking with 2 different connection strings and with the same name for the table. Table name will change that's why it is saved in config.
