Kindle 2 and PDFs in landscape

Hi guys, I am looking at getting a Kindle 2, read a lot about the PDF support (or lack off) and wanted to ask someone who has a kindle, a question. If you read a pdf in landscape mode, does it shrink the text to have it all in the one screen, or does it increase font size and split it into two or more pages. I have another reader, the iRiver Story and it does that, splits it into multiple pages thus making it readable. I know you can't zoom or anything like that in portrait view (i assume) I know you will say stick with iRiver, but the make of the kindle is a lot better (metallic back) and its useful to have a hybrid amazon book/pdf reader in one.

Finder dying when mac wakes from sleep

I have this persisting issue where when i put my mac (snow leopard) to sleep on my macbook, whenever i wake the mac, everything is fine besides the Finder. The finder does not open up, none of the folders i click on (via desktop) open up, so ii end up killing my finder via activity monitor and it then resets my folder settings ( i have snap to grid and large icons for example). Whats going on and why is it doing this? Thanks in advance guys

HTC Desire downgrading software 1.16 to 1.15 [closed]

Hi guys i need to downgrade the software version of my HTC Desire from 1.16 to 1.15 and cant seem to find a way of doing it. I need to flash my software to be operator neutral, as i think the firmware is stuffing up my 3G. Any help would me greatly appreciated

Safari address bar disappears all the time

Hi guys, something that annoys me, the address bar on Safari keeps on disappearing when I quit and re-open Safari, on default. In fact, when I open a new tab it does the same. Not sure why it does it, i have tried customising toolbar and adding address bar there again.
