• Sonicwall VPN, Domain Controller Issues

  I am trying to get the domain logon script to execute when I connect to VPN. I have a SonicWall 4060PRO, with the SonicOS Enhanced 4.2.0.0-10e. The VPN connects successfully, but the script does not execute. I am posting the log below, but I see two issues. I assume the second issue is caused because of the first, also on the second issue it seems to be trying to get the logon script from my local PC, not the server. Finally, the DC can be pinged and reached by its computer name once the VPN is connected. The shares that the script is tring to map can be mapped manually. • Possible DNS issue?

  I am having an issue, which I think stems from DNS. I have 2 servers. Server 1 is AD server with DNS, which was automatically configured when installing AD. The second server is a web server that is part of the domain, but it is not AD nor any other role. I can remote desktop in from server 1 using internal IP address, but when I attempt to connect from any other computer it fails, the computer can connect to server 1. I am able to ping both servers, as well as nslookup both using their FQDN. I am also able to telnet to port 3389. Any help is appreciated UPDATE I do not think it is DNS anymore, but not sure what it is. The remote desktop connects and I get to the login prompt, but when I start to enter credentials it disconnects. I then am unable to reconnect. If I wait for about 10 minutes it will allow me to repeat, but with the same results. UGH!!!

• Exchange 2010 Where did import go

  I see a ton on articles on importing PST files in Exchange 2010, but I do not have the option. I need to import PST files, can anyone shed some light. I added the administrator to the “Mailbox Import Export” role using the following at the shell. New-ManagementRoleAssignment –Role “Mailbox Import Export” –User “administrator” I installed Outlook as recommended here, but I only get export option in the console and trying to run the import from the shell only gives error saying cmdlet mot found. Any help is appreciated.

  I am running into a problem with IIS 7. I have require SSL enabled, but when I enter the non secure URL I get a timeout rather than the 403.4 error. I have the bindings set and browsing to the secure URL works fine. Any help is appreciated.

  We have began using Exchange 2010 in production, with no issues until now. I tried to email my self a link and it does not get received. I get no error or NDA. If I track the message is shows as successfully delivered, but it has not. This happens in OWA and Outlook Anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

• Exchange 2010 Multiple accounts in one mailbox

  I am looking for best practice or recommended ways of doing the following: I have a user that has 2 email addresses, he accesses them via POP 3 and OWA. He need to be able to send as each of the addresses. I do not want to create multiple AD accounts or mailboxes, but would like to be able to provide that visual separation. Is this possible, I know using Outlook I am able to add multiple POP3 accounts and he can send from whichever he choose, but how to enable this is OWA, as well as on a mobile using POP3. Thanks

• jQuery FullCalendar JSON date issue

  I am integrating jQuery plugin FullCalendar, overall it has been really straightforward. I however have ran into a problem with adding events to the calendar. I am using ASP.NET MVC 1.0 and have found and followed this post. I am returning JSON to the FullCalendar and the events are getting bound, but they all show up as all day events. I am formatting the dates as ISO8601 format.   I am working with MVC 1, and the CKEditor. I am integrating ajax forms which work great, but the editor window disappears after the ajax post. In webforms, I would have to not use ajax, or use a postback trigger. Is there a way to reload the editor on the ajax submission? Any help is appreciated.

• TFS webtest for SSRS reports issue

  I am creating webtests in TFS and trying to test reports execution in SSRS. When I record the initial process, it includes Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd files. These files are what is causing the problem. When I remove the files, the report does not display, however if I keep the AXD files in it works fine. The problem with keeping the AXD files is the reportsession querystring variable that are included. If I run the report after a bit the reportsession has obviously changed. Any help is appreciated.

• TFS Load Testing Web Tests

  I am configuring a load test and am curious/confused on settings. I am testing an intranet website, that is expected to have 6000 concurrent users. My employer had some previous consultant tell them that the load test users does not matter and that we need to worry about requests/second. They have previously determined that those 6000 users would generate 30 rps, while I feel that is not correct we need to show that we can exceed that number. The previous load test was set for only 200 users and the results showed that it did exceed the 200 rps. They were happy with the results, but that is not how I understand this. My question is, if we need to support 6000 concurrent users should I just set my users to 6000 and run, or is the rps an adequate piece of data to rely on? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

• MVC2 jQuery Validation & Custom Business Objects

  I have an application that was built with MVC1 and am in the process of updating to MVC2. I have a custom DLL and BLL, of which the model objects are custom business objects that reside in a separate class library. I was using this validation library in MVC1, which worked great. It worked great, but I want to eliminate the extra plugins and use what is available. Rather than use the Enterprise Library validation attributes I have converted to using DataAnnotations and want to use jQuery validation as the client side validation. My questions are: 1) Is the MicrosoftMvcJQueryValidation JS file still required, where do I download. 2) How to you automate the validation to views that do not have models, IE Membership sign in page? 3) How to you add model errors in a custom business layer.   I have a div that I have bound the jQuery hover event to activate a slideDown using slideToggle: <div class="Square"> <div class="RedSquare"></div> <div class="GraySquare"></div> </div> $("div.RedSquare").hover( function() { $(this).siblings("div.GraySquare").slideToggle("fast"); }, function() { $(this).siblings("div.GraySquare").slideToggle("fast"); } ); It toggles a div '.GraySquare' right below it. Basically making a gray box slide down from the red box. The problem I am facing is that when the mouse moves over the gray div the slide toggles up. I want it to remain down when hovering over the red or gray square. Any help is appreciated.

  I am trying to do a seemingly simple thing, but having trouble accomplishing it. I am trying to automate the posting on my Facebook wall. Basically I have a ASP.NET MVC website that I post updates on, and I want to automatically submit the post to my wall. I see a lot of stuff on FB Connect and getting data, I just want to post. Thanks for any help or guidance. UPDATE: Just trying to resurrect, and be a little more clear in my description as I am not getting anywhere. I have a page that I want with a text box and a button. When I submit the form I want the message to post to my Facebook wall. I thought it was Facebook Connect, but I am getting no where as to how to automatically authenticate myself and post to my wall.   I am trying to understand what is going on with CREATE INDEX internally. When I create a NONCLUSTERED index it shows as an INSERT in the execution plan as well as when I get the query test.   I am using ASP.NET membership, and in particular a copy of the membership code included in the MVC project. I am also using elmah to log exceptions.   I have a stored procedure on SQL server 2005. It is pulling from a Table function, and has two joins. When the query is run using a load test it kills the CPU 100% across all 16 cores! I have determined that removing one of the joins makes the query run fine, but both taxes the CPU. Select SKey From dbo.tfnGetLatest(@ID) a left join [STAGING].dbo.RefSrvc b on a.LID = b.ESIID left join [STAGING].dbo.RefSrvc c on a.EID = c.ESIID Any help is appreciated, note the join is happening on the same table in a different database on the same server.

  I am using SWFUpload to do file uploading in a ASP.NET MVC 1.0 website. It is working fine, but I am not able to authenticate the upload method. The HttpContext.User.Identity.Name returns an empty string. I am assuming this is because the Flash movie is making the post.   I am attempting to tune some stored procedures and have a question on indexes. I have used the tuning advisor and they recommended two indexes, both for the same table. The issue is one index is for one column and the other is for multiple columns, of which it includes the same column from the first. My question is why and what is the difference? • SSIS Handling Extenal Issues

  I have an SSIS package that works fine. The package runs every night and takes about 4 hours to complete. I have am a newb to SSIS, so I want to see what my options are. I am not finding anything on the web about these two issues, so any advice is greatly appreciated. What to do when I have an external issue such as a power failure/accidental restart. Is there a way to alert someone or have the package begin again on restart. A couple weeks ago there was a process that got hung and locked table, making the process not execute. How is the best way to handle ensuring I have the proper access before starting and if not, get the access. I am ok with killing the processes etc. Looking for best practice info. Thanks

  So I am using this to fix PNG transparency on background images in IE6 ul li a { background-image: url('/NewSite/Content/Images/Sprite.png'); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 0 -48px; background-image: none; filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src=/NewSite/Content/Images/Sprite.png, sizingMethod='crop'); } This works great, however I have run into a problem when trying to implement this with a sprite. The fix ignores the positioning and renders as if the position was top right. Is there a way to force background position or a better way to do this. I would prefer to not use JavaScript or change to gifs. Any help is appreciated!

  I have a table that has millions of records and we are looking at implementing table partitioning. Looking at it we have a foreign key "GroupID" that we would like to partition on. Is this possible? The Group will have more entries added to it, so as new GroupID's are added can the partition's be made dynamically?
