• Postsharp and log4net and log4postsharp

  I stumbled upon log4postsharp site which is a great tool that uses postsharp for injecting log4net statements into your code at compile time. The current version of log4postsharp uses Postsharp 1.0 which has some limitations. Does anyone know if there is somewhere a compiled version of log4postsharp that uses Postsharp 1.5 available?

• How do I access the TFS workspace of an employee that has quit to review/check in some of the change

  One of my co-workers has resigned and was made to leave the premises before checking in all of his code to TFS. I have access to the physical files. Is there a way for me to access his workspace and check in some of the changes that are still left unchecked in? From tfs I can see which files he has checked out but no way of seeing the exact changes unless very manually.

• Associating logging from two or more processes

  I have two processes that I have up and running and I am doing logging from. One is a client the other is a webservice. I want to setup a central log system where I can track logs and interactions between processes -- for instance I want to be able to associate calls made from the client to the webservice when I look at the logs. I guess this means that somehow the processid of the client process needs to flow over to the webservice in some way for it to be trackable? Is this possible with current logging frameworks such as Enterprise Library or Log4Net? Is there anyone that has looked into something like this? Any help would be appreciated. If you have a more defining term for this please feel free to change the title of the question or tags.

• What does a DependencyReplicator.xml file look like?

  I am trying to get started using Dependency Replicator http://www.codeplex.com/tfsdepreplicator. There is no documentation in place and therefore no example of a DependencyReplicator.xml file which I need in order to take my experiment further. Can anyone using Dependency Replicator supply a demo .xml file?
