• Time zone for Force.com API fiscal date literals?

  I have a question about fiscal date literals in the Force.com API (http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api/Content/sforce_api_calls_soql_select_dateformats.htm): For which time zone are date ranges calculated? For example, suppose we execute the query: SELECT Id FROM Opportunity WHERE CloseDate = THIS_FISCAL_QUARTER where, according to our company's fiscal settings, THIS_FISCAL_QUARTER runs from Jan 1 to Mar 31. Does the range for THIS_FISCAL_QUARTER use... the user's time zone? For example, if the user's time zone is GMT-8, THIS_FISCAL_QUARTER = Jan 1 00:00 GMT-8 to Mar 31 23:59 GMT-8 (or Jan 1 08:00 UTC to Mar 31 07:59 UTC) the company's default time zone (according to the company profile)? For example, if the company's default time zone is GMT-8, THIS_FISCAL_QUARTER = Jan 1 00:00 GMT-8 to Mar 31 23:59 GMT-8 (or Jan 1 08:00 UTC to Mar 31 07:59 UTC) UTC? • SQL Query, return value from table with no join

  I'm hoping for an idea on the best way to approach what I'm trying to do. I have a table with a list of transactions. Each transactions has a PostDate in DateTime format. I have another table holding the fiscal period values. This table has the following columns; FiscalYear, FiscalMonth, StartDate, EndDate. I'm trying to write a query that will return all values from my transactions table, along with the FiscalYear and FiscalMonth of the PostDate. So I guess I'm just trying to return the FiscalYear and FiscalMonth values when the PostDate falls between the StartDate and EndDate. I've tried using a Subbuery, but I have little experience with them and kept returning an error message that the subquery was returning more than 1 value. Help would be appreciated SELECT Transactions.PostDate, Transactions.TranKey, Transactions.CustKey, (SELECT FiscalPeriod.FiscPer FROM FiscalPeriod WHERE (Transactions.PostDate > CONVERT(Datetime, FiscalPeriod.StartDate, 102)) AND (Transactions.PostDate < CONVERT(DATETIME, FiscalPeriod.EndDate, 102))) AS FisPer FROM Transactions

• How can i supply an AntiForgeryToken when posting JSON data using $.ajax ?

  I am using the code as below of this post: First i will an fill array variable with the correct values for the controller action. Using the code below i think it should be very straigtforward by just adding the following line to the javascript: data["__RequestVerificationToken"] = $('[name=__RequestVerificationToken]').val(); The <%= Html.AntiForgeryToken() %> is at his right place and the action has a [ValidateAntiForgeryToken] But my controller action keeps saying: "Invalid forgery token" What am i doing wrong here? • Calendar Table - Week number of month

  I have a calendar table with data from year 2000 to 2012 (2012 wasn't intentional!). I just realize that I don't have the week number of month (e.g In January 1,2,3,4 February 1,2,3,4) How do I go about calculating the week numbers in a month to fill this table? • How to do validation on both client and server side for a service which is a store procedure(return a complex type)

  Hi I am doing Silverlight 4 In my database, I have a store procedure(having two parameters) which returns rows (with extra fields). So i have to make a complex type for those rows on my Models. And Making a service to call that function import store procedure. The RIA will automatically create a matching Entity(to the complex type) and an operation for me. However, I don't know how to validation the parameters of the operation on both client and server side. For example, the parameter must be an integer only (and greater than 10) or datetime only. below is my xaml code. I am using DomainDataSource control and don't know how to validate the two field parameter.It has two TextBox to let the user types in the value of parameters.
