• MongoMapper and bson_ext problem

  I can't get MongoMapper to work with my Rails app. I get this error message: **Notice: C extension not loaded. This is required for optimum MongoDB Ruby driver performance. You can install the extension as follows: gem install bson_ext If you continue to receive this message after installing, make sure that the bson_ext gem is in your load path and that the bson_ext and mongo gems are of the same version. I have installed DevKit and installed the gem: gem install bson_ext --no-rdoc --no-ri (result: bson_ext-1.0.1 installed) I'm running on Windows 7. The Rails version is 2.3.7. I used the RubyInstaller when installing. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

• NHibernate: Many-to-many relationship with field in the relationship table

  I'm scratching my head; I have a Car table and a Customer table that have a many-to-many relationship. In this relationship table I want to add a column that can tell me what kind of relationship this is; is the customer testdriving the car, do he want to buy the car, ect. What I want to end up with is a class Car object that holds a collection of Customers and the relationship information. I might be looking at this the wrong way so feel free to push me in the right direction.

  I'm just starting to learn Ruby and have a problem with encoding; require 'rubygems' require 'mechanize' agent = Mechanize.new agent.get('myurl.....') agent.page.search('#reciperesult a').each do |item| c = Mechanize.new c.get(item.attributes['href']) puts c.page.search('#ingredients li').text end The output text are shown like this h+©nsekj+©tt when it should have been shown like this hønsekjøtt. I'm using Ruby 1.8.7. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

• How to set up WCF Data Services with username/password and certificates?

  I have a application where I want to connect to a server using WCF DS with username/password. In addition I want each client to also have a certificate (different for each client). How can I solve this in the most simple way? It must be simple to deploy new certificates to the client.
