Does overflow:hidden applied to <body> work on iPhone Safari?

Does overflow:hidden applied to work on iPhone Safari? it seems not. i cant create a wrapper on the whole website to achieve that... do you know the solution? Example: i have a long page, and simply i want to hide the content the goes underneath the "fold". and it shoudl work on iPhone/iPad THANKS

Opera Browser: prevent mousewheel scrolling?

I just build a website that works good on any browser even ipad but in Oper ai noticed a weird thing: the website is built with a div layer on top zindez:999, body is overflow:hidden, and you cant scroll, but underneath the div there is a long text that goes way underneath the viewport... the strage thing is that even if any browser i wasable to keep this effect in Oepra if I use the mousewheel you can kepp scrolling...! ...argh.. do you any hack/solution for this?

is it possible in javascript to create shortcuts with sequence like 123,345 instead of combo?

I already used some script to implement the shortcuts in my web page but i was wondering if could be possible to associate some combination not syncronic like Ctrl+X but more like a sequence typing 1..2..3 or any other combination to execute a script... lets assume this example: you have a long list with numbers: you could type 3..5...6, so you can go to the item 356 passing trough the item 3 then 35 then 356 more or less like when you type while selecting a select box i hope it was clear, id not easy to explain...
