• iPhone SDK Internet connection detection

  I'm working on an iPhone application that makes a few calls to web services. I posted this application on the Apple store but it got rejected (and rightly so) since there was no error message displayed to the user if no Internet connection is available. Since obviously the application would not work without it. So I just wanted to know how to best achieve this? I'm guessing something needs to go in the viewDidLoad method that will throw an alert box saying something like "You need an Internet connection to use this application". Any ideas would be appreciated.

• Parsing dbpedia JSON in Python

  Hello, I'm trying to get my head around the dbpedia JSON schema and can't figure out an efficient way of extracting a specific node: This is what dbpedia gives me: http://dbpedia.org/data/Ceramic_art.json I've got the whole thing as a JSON object in Python but don't really understand how to get the english abstract from this data. I've gotten this far: u = "http://dbpedia.org/data/Ceramic_art.json" data = urlfetch.fetch(url=u) json_data = json.loads(data.content) for j in json_data["http://dbpedia.org/resource/Ceramic_art"]: if(j == "http://dbpedia.org/ontology/abstract"): print "it's here" Not sure how to proceed from here. • Adding custom tags in Wordpress

  Hello, I'm creating a new WP theme and I would like to allow the user to insert a divider in between paragraphs or images he/she is entering, for a post/page. I want the output to be something like: <div class="divider"></div> But I don't want the user to have to enter HTML in the WYSIWYG editor. Is it possible to ask them to enter something like: <-- break --> and then translate that to the div markup on display? Thanks.
